Wyoming Mental Health Professions Licensing Board

Composition

The Board is empowered to provide for the licensure and regulation of professional counselors, marriage and family therapists, addictions therapists and social workers practicing in Wyoming. There are six (6) seats on this Board; Senate confirmation is required. The Board is required to meet once a year. The service term for a Board member is 3 years. 

Appointment distribution: (1) licensed professional counselor, (1) licensed marriage and family therapist, (1) licensed addictions therapist, (1) licensed clinical social worker, (2) member of the public at large. The four professional members shall have at least four years of experience in their discipline prior to appointment.
