Wyoming Mental Health Professions Licensing Board
License and Permits required to practice in Wyoming
Individuals wishing to practice in the State of Wyoming must first obtain licensure.
Applying for Licensure
The Board office will only communicate with the applicant regarding the status of any application.
If your supporting documents start showing up before we receive your application, don't worry! We have a process in place to hold those until your application is received.
Application Processing
Application processing time is approximately 2-3 weeks, after the Board receives all materials to complete your application. This does not include the time for the background check report to be returned to the office which may take an additional 3-5 weeks. The time frames are a generalization and not a guarantee. Review time may vary due to the application type, current staff and/or review committee workload, if any discipline is disclosed, etc.
All applications are processed as quickly as staff is able and each is processed in the order received.
